NRLCA-USPS 2021-2024 Tentative Agreement Highlights

Please look at the attached from the (RCAM) Rural Contract Administrative Manual page 33. Contractual Article 9.2.C.8

There seems to be misunderstanding in the state for 5-day work week evaluated hours versus 6-day work weeks standard hour entitlement.

If the carrier does not file a grievance and we win the step 4, they will not be compensated for work hours more than 48 hours for 5 days of work.

Example: 5 days is 48 hours evaluated time.

Add 48 hours + sixth day of 9.60 hours. 4-digit decimal points are used. If done on a calculator it comes to 57.60

Because 4 decimal points are used the number comes out to be 57.36

Memorandum of Understanding signed between the USPS and the NRLCA regarding Territorial Route Adjustments.

GUILFORD DISTRICT #30 TO MEET

Guilford District #30 will hold its Fall Meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Captain Bill’s Seafood and Steak Restaurant.

Guest speakers include NCRLCA Executive Committeeman Tracy Greer, and a member of the National Steward System.

 

ALBEMARLE DISTRICT TO MEET

Albemarle District #2 will meet on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 6:45 at Pineapple Cafe in Elizabeth City, NC.

Guest speakers include NCRLCA Vice-President Jay Schreiber, who is a member of the National Steward System to be announced.
