Allegany/Ashe District #4 Meeting
Meeting Place: Crave Restaurant, 854 South Main Street, Sparta, NC 28675
Meeting Time: October 15, 2026 at 6:30 pm

Purpose: Election of Local Officers to SAVE District

WARNING! WARNING!

The Allegany/Ashe District has been placed in Trusteeship of the State.

This occurred because there was a failure to elect the three required officers at the
last local business meeting on April 14, 2025. Dept. of Labor law requires the three
officer positions of President, Vice President & Secretary/Treasurer be filled to be a
viable union district.

Your district will have another meeting to attempt to fill the officer positions and
save the district. This meeting will be for the election of officers only. No other
business will take place. In the event that all officer positions are not filled, the
district will be dissolved and its members will be incorporated into an adjoining
district.
