CONGRATULATIONS TO BARBARA KOONTZ!

Barbara Koontz, Rural Carrier in Mocksville, has retired, and the following information and pictures have been submitted. Congratulations Barbara!

 

 

 

 

 

Barbara Koontz started working at the Mocksville Post Office in 1983. January 13th she ran her route for the last time! For 40 1/2 years she was a dedicated rural carrier. About a month before her last day she asked her customers if they would put a balloon on their mailbox on her last day. Her husband had to come empty her mail Jeep 3 times that day so she could see to deliver the mail. She was a big asset to the office and will be extremely missed.
